Greenland Fixer and Consulting
Let’s make your project in Greenland a success while supporting local livelihoods
Greenland is one of the most breathtaking yet logistically challenging locations on Earth. Whether you’re producing a TV show, documentary, feature film, scientific expedition, or high-end photography project, you need more than just a local guide—you need a fixer with deep connections, cultural insight, and the problem-solving skills to get things done in remote Arctic conditions.
But Greenland is extremely expensive. If you have to ask, it is probably too much.
With years of experience working in Greenland’s most isolated regions, I bring unmatched expertise, a reputation for reliability, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring your project’s success. My insider connections and local know-how provide unique value, helping you save time, reduce stress, and create a truly authentic Greenland story. IMDB here.
Consultation Fees
I truly love sharing my knowledge about Greenland, but after years of offering guidance for free, I’ve realized I need to set clearer boundaries. Planning travel in Greenland—especially in remote areas—is complex and time-intensive, requiring deep relationships and expertise. To ensure I can continue providing high-quality support, all consultations are now paid and must be scheduled in advance through cal.com. All prices are in USD.
For Travelers:
Group Trips – If you're interested in joining one of my group trips, I’m happy to chat for free!
Independent Travelers – If you're planning your own trip, a 45-minute session is $150, then $150 per hour after that. Greenland has no simple price lists or booking sites, so figuring out logistics takes expertise and connections. This service helps ensure your trip is well-researched and realistic.
Trip Planning Clients – If you're considering hiring me to plan your trip, the first 15 minutes are free. After that, it’s $150 per hour.
For Businesses (Media, Production, Science, Expeditions, etc.):
Due to the complexity of these projects, feasibility assessments and consultations start at $300 and go up to $500+ per hour based on project needs.
Email Consultations:
If you just have a quick question and don’t need a full call, I offer paid email responses for $50–$100 per detailed reply.
I specialize in remote and off-the-beaten-path locations but can offer insights on travel across Greenland. I do not provide consulting for Nuuk—for that, I recommend starting with Reddit or TripAdvisor.
I appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you experience the best of Greenland!
Summary
With a track record of working in Greenland with high-profile clients, my insider access to communities that outsiders struggle to reach, and my understanding of both Kalaallit life and Western production needs, I am the perfect bridge between the two worlds. My strength is navigating relationships, solving problems, and ensuring productions get what they need without friction.
Most productions in Greenland fail because they focus on language instead of connections and trust. I have access that outsiders can’t buy. Greenland’s landscape, weather, and infrastructure are unpredictable. I know how to make things work despite that.
Here’s how:
✅ Unparalleled Access – I have trusted relationships with Kalaallit hunters, elders, artists, and community leaders—people who won’t open their doors to just anyone. If you want authentic storytelling and exclusive access, I’m the bridge to the real Greenland.
✅ Cultural Expertise – Greenland isn’t just ice and polar bears. It’s a complex intersection of Western capitalism and Indigenous resilience. I understand both worlds, ensuring that your project respects cultural nuances while achieving your creative vision.
✅ Seamless Logistics & Planning – Greenland’s weather is unpredictable, infrastructure is limited, and permits can be complicated. I know how to navigate these challenges, whether it’s securing boats, helicopters, remote lodging, or last-minute fixes on set.
✅ Language is No Barrier – I work exclusively with trusted local partners who speak Greenlandic, English and Danish fluently. My job isn’t to translate—it’s to remove obstacles, solve problems, and make sure your production runs smoothly.
With over 15 years of high stakes professional services experience and 9 years of navigating Greenland’s remote regions solo, I provide storytellers with unparalleled access and insight into Greenlandic culture, landscapes, political and environmental issues. My unique and extensive network of local contacts ensures your story is authentic and informed, while my logistical expertise saves you time, stress, and money.

Greenland Expertise Delivered
From Ilulissat to Qaanaaq, Ittoqqortoormiit to Tasiilaq I offer deep local knowledge and an extensive network of contacts across the country, ensuring that no matter how remote your project is, every detail is handled with precision.
I’m more of a subject matter expert and consultant than just a fixer. I have a network of partners throughout Greenland that I collaborate with to carry out each project.
My expertise in delivering high-stakes projects was forged in Wall Street's demanding environment, where relentless dedication and around-the-clock commitment were essential. This intensity, combined with years managing international partnerships across Southeast Asia, has honed my ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships while consistently delivering projects under budget and ahead of schedule.
An ideal consultant fixer does more than facilitate logistics—they become your trusted partner in overcoming challenges. I coordinate complex travel arrangements, secure essential permits, and navigate unpredictable Arctic weather to keep your project on track. My network includes local guides, cultural experts, and professionals in fields like science, industry, tourism, and Indigenous affairs, enabling authentic connections and access to hard-to-reach people and places.
Whether you need a boat charter to remote ice fjords, an interview with a local leader, or support with Greenlandic translation and cultural insight, my partners and I provide solutions tailored to your project’s needs. Please contact me if you want a consultation on your project.
But Greenland is extremely expensive. If you have to ask, it is probably too much. It is essential you perform due diligence about whether Greenland is feasible. Here is an discussion on how expensive it is for baseline costs. Engaging an elite fixer adds considerably more. Understand that the first question you get from me is your budget because that determines feasibility.
The consultation is free for 15 minutes and then a consulting fee will apply. Please come prepared to discuss your budget and goals.
