Greenland Beneath the Surface

I’m Arielle, aka Icebergchick, a sought-after Greenland expert and consultant. I connect the world to Greenland’s people and wildest places.

I originally came to Greenland to see the ice and hear its voice. What keeps me coming back is the people.

Greenland touched me deeply. It touched the scientist in me, the artist in me, and the human in me. It is my life's work.

Over a decade, I've built real relationships across nearly every town in Greenland, especially in Qaanaaq and Ittoqqortoormiit, two of the most remote communities on earth.

I bring my life experience to Greenland, and my goal is for others to learn to respect its land and its people as much as I do.

We work with

The ice speaks in the polar regions and when I started understanding Greenland and its indigenous people, climate change became personal for me so I left the oil and gas business and haven’t looked back.
