I’m Arielle, aka Icebergchick, a sought-after Greenland expert and consultant. I connect the world to Greenland’s people and wildest places.

I am many things but as Icebergchick, I am a Greenland expert, fixer, professional photographer, nonprofit founder, and speaker who challenges audiences to see beneath the surface of the ice in Greenland. My work connects the world to Greenland’s people, culture, and wildest places — far beyond the icebergs most people imagine.

We do special projects in Greenland with scientists, media, filmmakers, curators, photographers, and curious individual and group travelers that want to experience the rare and raw Greenland. If you can dream it, we can do it provided it’s legal, ethical and possible!

We work with

Through my nonprofit initiatives, I am building bridges between Greenlanders and global communities, amplifying Indigenous voices, and fostering cultural exchange in some of the most remote and overlooked places on Earth. I believe Greenland is not only a frontier of climate change, but also a frontier of human resilience, wisdom, and creativity.

Preservation of our planet and the traditions of the Indigenous are what we do. Understanding Greenland yourself will equip you with the perspective to make climate change personal and take action.

Detailed Itinerary

The ice speaks in the polar regions and when I started understanding Greenland and its indigenous people, climate change became personal for me so I left the oil and gas business and haven’t looked back.

Greenland means everything to me. You can see that in the images and you can understand Greenland for yourself when you come with us.

As a speaker and consultant, I help audiences and organizations rethink what they know about the Arctic, weaving together powerful storytelling, Indigenous perspectives, and years of on-the-ground experience. My goal is to inspire curiosity, compassion, and meaningful action — whether that means supporting community-led projects, traveling responsibly, or investing in a more connected Arctic future.

If you are a donor, organizer, or changemaker who wants to support Greenland’s people and cultural resilience, I’d love to connect.
